A Message From The PSAC 610 President

Members are still needed to sit on the Local's Negotiating Committee, especially from the Arts & Humanities and Biological and Physical Sciences. If you are interested in joining the committee, but would like to learn more about it before getting involved, I'm happy to meet over a coffee or pint at the Grad Club to discuss the work of the committee in greater detail.

Each spring the Local's Bylaws Committee meets to discuss the local's bylaws: the regulations that guide the day-to-day operations of the union. The committee is currently accepting proposals for amendments to our bylaws. In order to be considered for amendment, all proposals MUST be submitted to me in writing. If you would like to review the Local's current bylaws, you can do so here.

If you have any other comments, suggestions, or ideas for our next round of bargaining, or to submit a proposal to amend the bylaws, you can contact me via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

In Solidarity,

Dave Blocker
President, PSAC Local 610
