Position Description:

First Year Physics Laboratory (Phys 1101A, 1201A, 1401A, & 1501A)


We are seeking TAs for 105hr/term (7.5hrs/wk) and 70hr/term (5hrs/wk) positions


Duties will include but are not limited to: Conducting first year physics laboratory classes, giving lab introductory talks, grading lab reports, proctoring exams and assisting other lab related activities.


Required Skills: Applicants are required to be knowledgeable in basic physics laboratory skills and physics concepts at the undergraduate level. Previous experience in the first-year physics lab is preferred. Previous work in a science or engineering laboratory is also an asset.
