PSAC 610 Summer: Upcoming Events

We have some upcoming events and news! Read about them here: NEW DISCORD! That's right, PSAC 610 has its very own new Discord Server to discuss upcoming community events and issues! Check your email for the Discord Link.

Subscribe to the CALENDAR. The fun is just getting started at your local, but we already have a Google Calendar which you can subscribe to if you want to see our upcoming events. More events will appear here as the year progresses, and if you have any labor or union themed events you want to hold, shoot us an email. Check your email for the calendar link.

Become part of the MOBILIZATION TEAM. Is there a specter haunting Western? Do you have issues you want to bring up for bargaining? On Monday May 22nd there will be a virtual meeting over Zoom at 5 PM (link forthcoming) followed by an in-person meeting at the Grad Club at 6 PM. The purpose of the Mobilization Team is to get our Local prepared for bargaining. If you are passionate about this, come along, either in-person or online. Check your email for the Zoom link. Join a SOLIDARITY ACTION this Saturday, May 20th. Sign up to join the solidarity bus to Casino Woodbine!

Members of PSAC DCL 533 at Casino Woodbine have been locked out by their Employer. On May 20th, Saturday morning, PSAC members from across Ontario are heading to Casino Woodbine to support them at their picket lines. Join us as we extend solidarity to these members who are fighting for a fair contract!

Members participating in this important solidarity action will receive loss of salary for scheduled work, and also meal entitlements for the time, as per PSAC Rates. This means you get reimbursed for your time by the union, at the wage of your TA contract!
